Who and what makes my stress go away…

It’s been a little over two weeks since my office hours changed to normal hours. Before I was working on a graveyard shift and now… im kind of regretting and want to go back to normal hours. (Just giving it a little more time)

What causes my stress these days?

There are certain things I miss doing when I was on the night shift:

1. When I go home early in the morning, I have time to play the radio with my favorite Bigbang album. I listen to it with my mom while playing with our own mobile games we shyly dance our head to the beat of the music. (I don’t have to worry about my sister who’s tired of hearing the same set of songs).

2. I can play my downloaded dramas and DVDs and not worry on who will use the TV.

3. I miss my fan girling moments. Right now my body is still getting used to morning shift.. so I get tired easily. I sleep early too. 😦 I miss my GD stalking moments.

4. I hate traffic in the mornings. I love commuting at night where there’s seldom traffic and you can enjoy listening to your mp3 with the semi cool breeze. The Philippines is so hhhooottttt right now..you would want to stuck your head on a cooler.

5. I can’t play my new GD DVD Collection fully as I have no strength to watch the whole set. By the way… it’s worth it. Alot 2-3 hours when watching it full. Hahaha! I’ll post a review soon.

Apologies for taking too long… this is me.. getting too old for everything.

Anyway… enough of the rantings…

What and who makes my stress go away after going home from the office?

1. A big hug from my Mom and a welcome home smile from my dad.

2. When I go to my room, we have this drawer where I put my stuff and clothes in, on top of it there’s a big smile from GD holding a bouquet of flowers welcoming me home. Got this one from Bigbang’s Alive Tour in Manila, a freebie from JejuAir.

3. Next to GD is my standee of Jang Keun Seuk. Seeing them both temporarily takes my office madness away.

4. Re-runs of Running Man episodes with my sister gives me a way out of having office nightmares.

I’m not sure what I’ll do without these four stress-away factors. They’re like my everyday routine, my medicine.

My Top 5 Running Man Guests

What makes a remarkable Running Man guest:

1. Someone who is smart.
2. Someone who’s not afraid of Sparta.
3. Someone who does not care about ruining their image and just wants to have fun and win.
4. Someone who effortlessly makes us laugh.
5. Someone who’s just like family.

These 5 points I’ve mentioned may not all be present in the 5 guests I’ll be giving but they have at least most of them that makes me want to see them back at Running Man.

Here it goes, in no particular order:

Jung Yong Hwa of CNBlue – He is the Ace of all guests. He’s been a guest for a number of times now but I really don’t mind it. I like the relationship he has built with the Running Man cast and the fact that he has established a strong character that makes RM cast want to be in the same group as him is a plus!

Kang Daesung of BIGBANG – Just like old family. It really is a pleasure to see the old Dumb and Dumber duo reunite, Jaesuk and Daesung. They’re also the reason why I started watching Family Outing. I love how they care for each other in their dumb old way. ^^ He is also one of the reason what made the RM Bigbang episode fun to watch.

Song Joong Ki – He may not be a guest but was one of the original cast members. It was refreshing to see him guest with Kim Sam Soon’s Kim Sun Ah. Hope he’ll have time to visit his RM family. I miss enthusiastic Joonki.

Song Joong Ki

Han Ji Min – One of the female guest which showed a perfect female guest in RM who does not show her weakness and not a damsel in distress.

Gong Hyo Jin – Another fearless female guest. I had fun watching her attack the members to protect betrayer Kwangsoo. At first she didn’t have a will to win but as the show went on, she was so competitive.

Lee Kwang Soo and Gong Hyo Jin

I only picked a few of the stand-out guests in Running Man but there are plenty. KUDOS to the PDs and staff! Without them RM wouldn’t be interesting and fun.

Do you have your own pick?  Please do share ^^

I ❤ Running Man

Running Man – Fan Art by @RMDoodle

I started watching a Korean Variety show, Running Man early 2012. My sister wanted me to watch it with her as she knew I was into Korean dramas and thought I might appreciate it. At first I thought,  “Nah, I don’t like it…I’ll stick with my K-dramas” . When we got to the Chicken fight on the first episode it got more and more interesting and got me hooked to the show.

In a span of 2 months, we marathon-ed Running Man and eventually came to a point where we were watching the dramas a week after it was shown in Korea. We just had to wait for  English subbed version. I could say that my week is not complete without Running Man.

I love the camaraderie between the group. Each have distinct strengths and personalities that you would appreciate each and everyone of them.

I even salute the PD’s and staff of Running Man as without them, Running Man won’t be that interesting to watch.

Right now, they’re around 131 and I’m not getting tired of seeing them. They are my stress relievers.

I’m looking forward to more interesting games, challenges and puns from the cast and staff of Running Man in 2013.
